One of the most important, but often neglected things that a parent can do for a child is to encourage them in the area of fitness. It is, honestly, an area in which a lot of parents drop the ball. The saddest thing about the situation is that when most kids are exposed to exercise and fitness in a fun light, they tend to enjoy it and stick with it.
